Brief Quotes From Articles In Volume 10
The Power of Fermented Foods
Fermented foods could be the missing link in some people’s health program. All throughout human history people have relied on fermented foods to maintain a high level of healthy probiotic bacteria in their bodies and digestive tract. Kefir and kimchi are two of the most potent fermented foods with high probiotic activity.
The Family - God's Personal 'Classroom'
The marriage relationship requires us to learn unselfishness and self-control. Having children and creating a family requires an even higher level of discipline, commitment and self-sacrifice. It’s a great comfort to know that God understands how hard it is to be a parent, and that He is with us every step of the way.
38 Years He Waited!
The lame man will never forget the 38 years he waited, and then he saw the face of a kind stranger who showed him love and care, and healed him. We too are waiting. Sometimes the wait is long, and sometimes it’s short. How we wait is what’s important and touching to God, and to those around us. God blesses those who are patient. So, if our answer comes today, or in a year, or in 38 years… be assured God hasn’t forgotten about you. The wait will be worth it!
Friends In Heaven!
Here’s an interesting question. Do you think we’ll have the same friends in Heaven that we have here on earth? We certainly hope so. But what about when friendships end, will we be friends with those people again in Heaven? And what about the broken family relationships here on earth, will they all be corrected and healed in Heaven? We pray and hope they are.
What Does 'Safe and Effective' Mean?
As Christians, is it important what we put into our bodies? We would say, ‘Yes, it is’. We would agree with the Apostle Paul when he says our bodies do not belong to us. He even says our bodies are the home, or the temple of the Holy Spirit of God. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) If we believe that, then we should seriously question what we put into our body, and especially what we put into our children’s bodies.
Questions That Need Answers
When we are hurt it is always a challenge
to forgive and to love the person who hurt us.
The bigger the hurt, and the more damage
that is done, the harder it is to forgive and love.
We should look at the example Jesus gives
us on the cross. This article is a brief overview
of how we can be healed and get free from the hurts that we’ve experienced throughout our life. If we reread it on a regular basis, we can learn to apply it to our individual challenges and hurts.
Inspiring Thoughts From - Volume 10
"This hard place in which you perhaps find yourself is the very place in which God is giving you opportunity to look only to Him, to spend time in prayer, and to learn long-suffering, gentleness, meekness - in short, to learn the depths of the love that Christ Himself has poured out on all of us."

- Elizabeth Elliott
"We don't learn obedience once, we have to keep re-learning it because we slide back into rebellion, which is our natural tendency as humans."
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

- The Apostle Paul
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
"We often ask for a blatant sign from God, hoping that He will shout answers to us. God doesn't shout to us though, for He is too close. He whispers."

"Say No to self, and Yes to Jesus. Say No to the flesh, and Yes to the Spirit. Say No to sin, and Yes to life. Say No to bondage, and Yes to freedom. Say No to losing, and Yes to victory. Say No to selfishness, and Yes to love. Say No to lust, and Yes to purity. Say No to taking, and Yes to giving!"
"As long as we are rebellious, we stay immature. As we learn obedience, we can mature to adulthood."

- Philip Legge
"Faith enables us to withstand what we cannot understand. The troubled waters of life are not meant to drown us, but cleanse us."
